Nouvelle agréable qui se lit très vite avec un bel hommage aux films de zombies que j'ai particulièrement apprécié. A Plague of Saints est un bel interlude entre Imperial Creed et le prochain opus. On en redemande!

Yarrick : ce nom légendaire est associé aux actions les plus héroïques et aux batailles les plus célèbres. Mais Sebastian Yarrick, vétéran d’Armageddon forçant le respect des space marines eux-mêmes, n’a pas toujours été un Seigneur Commissaire. Il y a bien longtemps de cela, il n’était qu’un jeune officier tout droit sorti de la schola progenium.

Yarrick : Le Crédo Impérial est une véritable prequelle qui pose les bases d'un Commissaire Yarrick mirifique avec un talent et une ingéniosité qui plaira aussi bien aux vétérans qu'aux néophytes. Un roman qui s'impose de façon naturelle et évidente.

J’aurai mis volontiers 5/5 mais c’est bien trop court et c’est l’unique chose que je lui reproche.
Si David Annandale ne fait pas de suite, une chose est sur, je le kidnapperai et forcerai. Il a totalement cerné le personnage de ce Commissaire si exceptionnel et lui seul pourra le faire ...

Court récit mettant le lecteur dans la peau de Yarrick, prisonnier des orks, mais bien décidé à faire changer la situation. Agréable et vite lu. Une belle introduction à Chains of Golgotha.
